Description
The concept of POWERDRIVE is that all the experience and expertise of the project partners in the development of electric drivetrain components is leveraged and lead into the integration of advanced power electronics solutions for an optimised powertrain. This concept brings additional opportunities to strengthen Europe’s supply chain in electromobility for road transportation and to achieve zero-emission road mobility. SCIRE is involved in two different WPs: the former related to thermo-fluid dynamics optimization of the cooling system (relating both to single component cooling jacket and complete system), the latter related to dissemination activities of the whole project results.

Description
REFLECTIVE Project will develop and demonstrate a novel concept for a distributed and modular fully electric vehicle combining compact size and design for purposes. The design proposed by REFLECTIVE is scalable, going from L7 vehicles up to small and light M1/A vehicles, flexible, going from passenger transportation to good transportation in last-mile delivery, and rightsized for a mission for supreme energy efficiency. Particular attention has been given to the security standards and to the innovation in terms of ADAS so to guarantee autonomous potentialities to the developed vehicle. Moreover, the reconfigurable interiors allow to guarantee a multipurpose usage of the vehicle, passing from a 4 seats vehicle for person transportation, to a 2 seats plus cargo area while the vehicle is used for goods transportation.
